A Disney animal safari adventure is as extraordinary as nature itself! Escape to this secluded safari park and enjoy an African lodge-style resort lodge where hundreds of exotic animals roam free on a 33-acre wildlife reserve. The park is made up of seven themed areas, Oasis, Discovery Island, Camp Minnie-Mickey,Africa, Rafiki's Planet Watch, Asia, and Dinoland USA.

MGM Studio's - Disney's Hollywood Studios™ is a Disney Theme Park that brings Hollywood glamour andMGM Studios excitement to life and lets you live your own make-believe adventure. Its streets are burnished, and its art deco motif sets the stage for some great movie-themed attractions. With the addition of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, the park is now home to WDW's most thrill-packed rides. Tip: Get a fast pass to avoid long attraction lines and dont miss the Fantasmic Show at closing! Seating fills up fast and I recommend getting to the amplitheatre at least 1 hour prior to the show for good seating.

Blizzard Beach - Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is one of America's premier Water Parks that has been created from, according to Disney legend, a snow ski resort.Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is packed with snow-capped mountains, whitewater raft rides, flumes, and floats. Climb to the peak of highest point of Blizzard Beach,Summit Plummet and take the 60 mph plunge down the fasted, tallest water slide in the United States. Enjoy the Florida sun on one of Blizzard Beach’s sandy lounge areas. Hang out for a lazy day on Blizzard Beach’s ice floe. Typhoon Lagoon - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is a watery playground of waterslides created, according to Disney legend, in the wake of a record storm.Where can Modern-day Swiss Family Robinsons immerse themselves in a day of adventure in a water playground that looks like it was left behind by a great storm? At Disney's Typhoon Lagoon!

Located near Downtown Disney West Side, the 56-acre water park includes a man-made watershed mountain with eight twisting-and-turning water slides and roaring streams. A two-and-one-half acre wave-making lagoon features surfing-size waves.In a Typhoon Lagoon exclusive, guests come face-to-face with all the colorful creatures of the Caribbean when they snorkel in Shark Reef, a saltwater pool presented by NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors).The park also features a water playground for children, sunny beaches and lazy streams surrounding a 95-foot mountain. The water-entertainment area takes its theme from a legend of romance and danger evident with Miss Tilly, the wrecked shrimp boat storm-stranded on the mountain peak.

Hints and Tips!

Newest Attractions - Finding Nemo: The Musical at Disney's Animal Kingdom, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at Epcot, and The Laugh Floor Comedy Club at Magic Kingdom are the newest attractions to open at WDW! Some of the longest lines for attractions include, Space Mountain in the Magic Kingdom, Mission Mars at Epcot, Soaring at Epcot, the Rockin Rollarcoaster at MGM Studios and the Tower of Terror at MGM Studios.

To bypass the long wait lines at popular attractions - make sure to take advantage of the "Fast Pass" lines. Fast Pass allows your to recieve an entrance pass to an attraction at a specific time allowing guest to walk to the front of the line. This service is free and available to all paid park ticket holders.  Another tip, attraction lines are small during street parades. It may be worthwhile to skip the parade or leave a few minutes early to beat the crowds!

Best time to Visit Walt Disney World Parks - Always in the mornings at opening. Start with the most popular attractions before the lines start to fill up. Parks tend to get busy after 10am. Best days to visit the parks are Mondays and Tuesdays and during the months of October and November. If this is your first visit, always start with the Magic Kingdom Park first.

International Food & Wine Festival - Yearly event during Oct & Nov at Epcot Center. Usually runs for 6 weeks and includes over 30 countries. Taste and sample food and wine from all around the world for a small fee. Park admission required.

The resort features three official hotels: The Royal Pacific Hotel, the Hard Rock Hotel, and the Portofino Bay hotel. All three hotels have been given the AAA Four Diamond rating and are located in close proximity to the Universal Orlando theme parks. The hotels offer guests free water taxi or shuttle bus service to the Universal Orlando theme parks. Another benefit is that the guest room key works as an "Express Pass", allowing the guest to bypass the Stand-by line at any attraction with the "Express Pass" option. Islands of Adventure opened in May 1999. The park is composed of six distinct "islands", each having its own theme. Visitors start off in the Port of Entry and make their way through the various islands - Marvel Super Hero Island, Toon Lagoon, Jurassic Park, The Lost Continent, and Seuss Landing. A new "island" themed to the popular Harry Potter film and book series was announced in May 2007, with a scheduled opening in late 2009.

SeaWorld Orlando is a theme park located near Orlando, Florida. It is owned and operated by Busch Entertainment Corporation, a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch. The park, when combined with its neighbor Discovery Cove and the upcoming Aquatica water park, forms a larger entertainment complex devoted to Earth's oceans and the array of life that inhabits them.

Animal Encounters Inlcude:

  • Penguin Encounter, an indoor exhibit that also includes puffins and murres
  • Shark Encounter, which features an underwater tunnel and a wide array of sharks, rays and venomous fish. At Sharks Underwater Grill, guests can dine while observing the sea life in the main exhibit tank.
  • Pacific Point Preserve, home to the park's sea lions and seals
  • Wild Arctic, an indoor exhibit featuring polar bears, beluga whales and walruses that is designed to resemble a research station in the Arctic Ocean. Guests can take a motion-simulated helicopter journey to the exhibit, or may bypass the ride and proceed directly to the exhibit. During the 2007 Christmas season, Wild Arctic has been replaced by the Polar Express Experience.

SeaWorld Orlando hosts a number of live shows, many featuring trained animals. During peak seasons (such as summer), the park will offer special shows in addition to the main performances.

  • Shamu Stadium is the seven-million gallon home to the park's killer whale performers. The park's current production is Believe, which is joined by Shamu Rocks during busier seasons.
  • The Whale and Dolphin Theatre features dolphins and false killer whales in Blue Horizons, which also adds human acrobats and divers.
  • The Sea Lion and Otter Stadium hosts "Clyde and Seamore," a pair of California sea lions in the comical presentation Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island. During the summer months, the pair lampoon the park's other shows during Sea Lions Tonight.
  • At Atlantis Bayside Stadium, guests can watch water skiing shows on the park's central lake. The current show, Elmo and the Bookaneers, features Elmo and other Sesame Street characters.
  • The Nautilus Theatre is home to Odyssea, an acrobatic show similar in style and presentation to the works of Cirque du Soleil.
  • Seaport Theatre features dogs, cats and other animals that have been rescued from local animal shelters in Pets Ahoy!.

The Morse Museum of American Art
