Steak. It’s What’s For Dinner
Located in downtown Indianapolis, Morton’s Steakhouse specializes in serving robust portions of USDA prime aged beef—including a 24-ounce porterhouse (the house specialty); a 20 ounce New York sirloin, and a 14 ounce double cut filet. Regulars declare the signature lobster bisque runs a very close second to the sirloin. For customers who prefer not to indulge in red meat will find poultry and seafood selections equally tasty. The best thing about this restaurant is when your food arrives at your table; the waiter presents each selection in mouthwatering detail.
Their menu is a la carte so you can order anything you want. The average price of a full dinner for two is about $170, though it varies on the type of drinks ordered and gratuities. Available now through September 30th, Morton’s Steak and Seafood for two is only $99. This offer includes two single cut steak filets, two choices from Colossal Shrimp Alexander, Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, or Broiled Sea Scallops, a choice of Caesar Salad or Morton’s Salad, one signature potato and one fresh vegetable to share. It also includes a choice of Morton’s Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake or Key Lime Pie.
Reservations are not required, but are recommended. To request a reservation you will need the following information: number in party, Morton's location, time and date. You will then receive confirmation or availability status by email from that restaurant's Sales and Marketing Manager. Online reservations are available; however, if you have a party of eight or more you will need to book your reservation by phone. The appropriate dress code for men consists of a collared shirt and dress pants. While a jacket and tie are not necessary, many male guests will be wearing business suits. They also provide a board room for private meetings, special events and receptions for 10 people or more.

An amazing steak house! 03/30/2006

Morton's steakhouse is such a great place to eat. I go at least once a year because I do not live in Indianapolis. Morton's has the most tender and delicious steaks and you always have to try to lobster bisque. My favorite dessert is the Molten Chocolate Godiva cake, it is a small chocolate cake with fudge in the middle, and served a la mode. The filet is my favorite of the steaks you can order a double filet for around the same price too. The salads are so wonderful. If you have not ever eaten here please do, it is probably my favorite restaurant. --Rebecca ps. I am only sixteen, but I have been going since I was a lot younger.
One of the BEST 03/18/2007

I've been to three of several great steakhouses in downtown Indianapolis. Morton's is one of my favorite. The waiters and waitresses are "down to earth" and are very efficient. The serving sizes are insane and I couldn't even come close to eating all my food. I think St. Elmo's has the best steak overall but Morton's is next in line. If you want a great meal in a friendly atmosphere, this is the place.
